so, wednesday was just great!! we had so much fun, finding scriptures, catching sweets and drawing pictures for our teams!!
so, all our word came from my favourite subject.... SHOES!!!
First we learnt about our spiritual high heels...
We read the story about Martha and Mary, and how Martha was so busy at doing the girly stuff, the cleaning and getting food ready and doing her girl duties, that she didn't get time to sit at the feet of Jesus!and what about our gumboots?
we went to the story of Cain and Abel! about Cain who was doing a good thing, growing plant that would feed his family and working in the field. but when he brought his sacrifice to God, a) he did not bring his best and b) he did not have a pure heart! so, we often get into doing the right thing, but with the wrong motives!

how we end up building our own little kingdoms and we get so busy providing for our own needs, that we get to a place where we're just not ready to
give it up if God asks us too!! have you gotten to use to your comforts and your way of doing things?what about running shoes?? Shurely there is nothing bad about Tekies!!
well, what do we do with running shoes, we run??? do you find yourself running away from your spiritual responsibilities? like the prodigal son?? running away from doing what you should, in hope of a better and easier
life, or do we face what God planed for us, head on!
and the lazy sandals!! Wow, God I see things that are terrible and need changing.. please send someone else to go do it!! Here i am, God, please don't send me!! sound familiar??? our lazy spiritual sandals!! and how often do we become lazy with our own salvation, not growing, not learning, not reading Bible, not praying, not seeking Him... lazy, lazy, lazy
and our slippers!!!
